High-Profile Line-Up: NOVUM Hospitality appoints Prof. Stephan Gerhard and Thomas Willms to the Supervisory Board

I am honored to appoint Prof. Dr. h.c. Stephan Gerhard and Thomas Willms, two proven experts in the national and international hotel industry, as new members of NOVUM Hospitality’s Supervisory Board.

With Professor Stephan Gerhard and Thomas Willms, I was able to win two renowned industry and business experts for NOVUM Hospitality. Through their different competencies, many years of experience and expert knowledge, they, together with the other members of the Supervisory Board, enrich our management efforts. This collaboration surely puts NOVUM Hospitality in a prime position for the future.

Prof. Stephan Gerhard is co-founder of 25hours Hotel Company as well as Arcona Management GmbH, founder of TREUGAST Solutions Group, member of the advisory board of the German hotel association IHA, university professor and CEO of Solutions Holding. “NOVUM Hospitality is already one of the most relevant players in the German hotel market. Therefore, I am very pleased that my appointment to the Supervisory Board gives me the opportunity to contribute my expertise in particular to the further development of the Group,” explains Prof. Stephan Gerhard.

Consultant and Advisor Thomas Willms is former Chief Executive Officer and Spokesman of the Executive Board of Steigenberger Hotels AG and Deutsche Hospitality, served as Senior Vice President Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Marriott International Central and Eastern Europe and held several leadership positions at ArabellaStarwood, Maritim and Intercontinental Hotels Group. In 2021, Willms founded the consulting firm TWC (Thomas Willms Consulting). “I am very pleased to support this emerging and innovative company as a member of the Supervisory Board,” says Thomas Willms.
